Refund Policy

This policy sets out what you pay, when you pay it, and what comes back if a booking is canceled.

1. What you pay, and when

You can pay the price all at once or in up to 3 equal payments, 30 days apart. There is no interest and no fee.

On a trip that is already confirmed, or that your booking brings to its minimum, the first payment is charged when you book. On one that is still short, we keep your card and charge nothing until the trip confirms, and the first payment is charged that day. The last payment is charged no later than 30 days before the trip starts, and at least half the price is paid by 60 days before, or with the first payment where that comes later. Where there is not room for every payment there are fewer, and where there is room for only one you pay in full.

Each payment after the first is charged to the card you paid with, and we email you 3 days before. If a payment is declined, you have 7 days to pay it from your booking, with that card or another. If it is still unpaid after that, the booking is canceled as though you had canceled it, under section 2.

2. If you cancel

Within 7 days of booking, and more than 60 days before the trip starts: everything you have paid is returned, with nothing deducted.
More than 60 days before the trip starts, after those first 7 days: everything you have paid is returned, minus the administrative fee of $160.
30–60 days before the trip starts: 50% of the trip price is refunded, or everything you have paid where that is less.
Less than 30 days before the trip starts: no refund.

You may cancel at any time before the trip begins. The administrative fee is deducted only from a cancellation more than 60 days before the trip starts. Nothing is deducted from a 50% refund.

If circumstances at the destination make the trip unsafe

If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at your destination, or on the way to it, significantly affect the trip, you may cancel and everything you have paid is returned, with nothing deducted. This is your right under the Swedish Package Travel Act and it is not ours to withhold.

The administrative fee

The fee is deducted when you cancel more than 60 days before the trip starts, and charged when you change a booking in that same period. It is a stated amount in each currency rather than a conversion made on the day, so it does not change with the exchange rate. You are charged the amount for the currency you paid in.

Each amount is a clean figure at or just above the 1,500 kr the fee is set at.

How a refund is paid

Refunds are processed within 14 days of the cancellation request, to the payment method used at booking.

3. If we cancel

Everything you have paid is returned in full, or you may take an alternative trip of equivalent value instead. The choice is yours.

A trip runs only if enough travelers book it. The number it needs is shown before you book, and a trip that has not reached it by the day shown for it when you book is canceled that day. Everything you have paid is returned, and on a trip that had not confirmed nothing was charged. Once a trip is confirmed, it is not canceled for low numbers.

5. Changes and transfers

Changing your booking

Changes can be made more than 60 days before the trip starts for the administrative fee, $160. Inside 60 days a change is a cancellation and a new booking, and section 2 applies.

Giving your booking to someone else

You can transfer your place to someone else who meets the conditions of the trip, with at least 7 days' notice before the trip starts. Any costs the transfer causes, such as name changes or reissued flight tickets, are paid by you or the person taking over, and you are jointly responsible for anything still owed.

Changes we make

Minor changes, such as a slight schedule adjustment or a different hotel of the same standard, will be communicated but do not entitle you to a refund. If we make a significant change to the trip you may accept it, take an alternative trip of equivalent value, or cancel and have everything you have paid returned.
